Roles
Travis Wallace serves as RAMS® Product Manager and IIOT Implementation Manager. His role in RAMS® includes system design, programming, product development, installation and troubleshooting. He works closely with team members daily to support IIOT projects and to solving new customer challenges in data monitoring. Travis also led the development of a new CMMS add on for RAMS®.
Previous Expertise
Travis has been with American MTS for 11 years. Prior to his current role, He was has worked as a transformer, AC and DC motor winder. He also served as the primary IT contact for American MTS and led the development and implementation of a new ERP solution. He has done accounting, shop supervision, purchasing and just about every role within the company and some point in time.
Education & Industry Involvement
Travis has been through numerous EASA training seminars and webinars, is a certified HID sensor technician, completed a certificate course in transformers by SPX Waukesha, has taken numerous electrical engineering classes. He also has strong programming skills including C, C++, Python, DASYLab, Node-RED and more.
What Sets Him Apart
Travis has a unique ability to solve difficult problems after getting away from the issue for a few hours or overnight. He also is very computer and electronic savvy allowing him to find answers to some of the most difficult IT issues. He also has learned to juggle his time as he has been responsible for as many as five roles simultaneously throughout his career.
