Robert Lintzner
REM Production Operations Manager
REM Industrial Solutions
Roles
Robert serves as Production Operations Manager for REM Industrial Solutions. In his role, he coordinates, plans, and directs the daily business tasks at REM’s shop.
Previous Expertise
Prior to joining REM in 2019, Robert served as a shop and production manager for Schulz Group. Robert was at Schulz Electric for 16 years and worked his way in to management from the ground up. He went to school to become an electrician and, during his apprenticeship, he was brought onto Schulz Electric where he began to learn the trade firsthand by working alongside engineers. He began his career there as a winder, then became a mechanic and eventually, he became the production manager, overseeing shop management.
Education & Industry Involvement
Robert attended Naugatuck Valley Community College, where he studied business and earned his associate’s degree. He then went to Lincoln Technical Institute, where he participated in and completed their electrician program. In his professional career, one of Robert’s more notable projects was for a hydroelectric motor for municipality’s dam in Augusta, ME. When it got to the new windings, Robert and his team went on site and built a huge oven around it for the wires in order to bring it to a certain temperature. This process took 4-5 days and, once it was completed, they disassembled the oven they had constructed.
What Sets Him Apart
Robert often mentors those who are new to the field, leveraging his nearly twenty years of industry expertise. “I enjoy sharing my experience with the younger folks in production,” he says. “Working together, we can create an optimal solution for our customer.” He likes working at REM because of the mentality of the people and the company. “We have a great crew here,” he notes. “We are all encouraging of one another and there is no negativity in the office – and this positivity spills over into our relationships with our valued clients. We all work hard to get our jobs done, and our clients appreciate what we do to keep them up and running.”
