Roles
Mike serves as president and owner of American MTS which currently serves over 1,000 customers across the Carolinas and throughout North America. Mike oversees all departments for the company including operations, accounting, HR, and sales. Under Mike’s direction, the company is expanding well beyond its expertise in motor repair into high-performance condition monitoring that helps clients detect and curtail equipment issues before they become more serious. “Our goal is to decrease stress and unplanned downtime for our clients and their plant,” says Mike. “We aim to determine the ‘when’ by detecting early stages of trouble to avoid catastrophic or unplanned failures.” American MTS developed the RAMS platform for tracking assets and activities including remote condition monitoring and data collection. The system works with thousands of sensor types to help clients stay on top of the health of equipment as well as plant environment. The system also tracks asset service and maintenance through both manual and automatic collected data.
