What Sets Him Apart

Since then, he’s continued to enhance his skill set, certifications and industry knowledge. Of his current position, Jason notes, “I love working at HECO because of the family atmosphere and the fact that we’re always moving forward, on the leading edge of where the industry is going.” He is proud that HECO was one of the first companies in the entire Midwest to do motion amplification. Looking toward the future, Jason notes that, “Remote condition monitoring is the way of the future, and it works in tandem with boots on the ground. Machine learning plus the human element success in this business.” When he’s not working, Jason enjoys coaching his son’s soccer travel league. Jason played competitive soccer in his youth and through college – and remains a huge soccer fan to this day.
